Dress for Success - Living XL
This weeks installment has more to do with everyday living and items to assist in getting dressed than it does clothing. Living XL is the brain child of the people at Casual Male XL realizing that when it comes to some plus size men and women daily products such as hangers, umbrellas, lawn furniture and medical supplies are hard to come by and expensive in stores that do not cater to larger individuals.
Living XL does a good job of carrying a wide range of products at competitive prices. The two areas that are most important to me are the bath and travel sections. I have heard far to many times especially with women not being able to find bath towels or robes that fit properly. In the case of robes many women resort to shopping in the mens section of a department store to find their size.
In the travel section items such as seat belt extenders and the portable health profile kit which allows you to store important medical information in a digital format while traveling. The majority of the items listed on Living XL are common sense products to fit any lifestyle regardless of the circumstances. Being new there are not a lot of items listed in each category, but I expect that to change in the near future.
A unique feature that is available to customers of the Living XL website is customers can submit products ideas. I think that this will probably end up being one of the most valuable tools on the entire website. While shopping if you don’t see a product listed send an email to the company. Overtime that will ensure that Living XL is a company that values customer feedback.

Those people closest to me know that I will be in Great Lakes, Il this weekend attending the graduation of my oldest son from Navy boot camp. As a result I have been in a military mindset for the past few weeks. Though ArmyNavy clothing and accessories have very little to do with plus size fashion it relates to my son and others that have children and loved ones in the military. The ArmyNavymall carries Army Navy supplies, military clothing, footwear, gifts and more. Camping and hiking supplies, survival equipment, law enforcement and security items. Low prices and fast delivery.
The size ranges on the ArmyNavyMall go up to 6XL in the mens military section but only up to 2X in pants for women. The majority of the shopping audience for this site is obviously men in the military but there are still items that women can purchase as well. Even the camping supplies have a military theme to them allowing current and former service men and women to continue to show there affiliations. Children items are also available for kids that want to dress like mom or dad.
The gift and novelty category at the ArmyNavyMall caught my attention with the oddest item being a boomerang. I am not sure how this item can be tied back into military or law enforcement, maybe it is used for hunting purposes or just for display.
Regardless as to the reason for shopping from this website the selection is large enough that you will be able to find just about anything that you need or want. Now that my son is in the military I will have to get my gear to show support for him and all of the troops serving worldwide.
